Provider: Daralexion Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no.
17279214), registered office 14b-14c Faversham Road, London SE6 4XF, United Kingdom
("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account you agree to these Terms. Please also read our
Privacy Policy.
1. What Maevious Learn is
Maevious Learn is a free mobile app for practising topics from the national
curriculum of England. It is, and is intended to remain, free to use. There
are no adverts and no in-app purchases.
2. Who may hold an account
- You must be 18 or over and the parent or legal guardian of the child
who will use the app, or otherwise responsible for that child.
- You create learner profiles for children in your care. Children do not hold
their own accounts and are not asked to register.
- You are responsible for supervising your child's use as you see fit and for
keeping your login details secure.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access data belonging to other families or to our systems beyond
what the app provides to you;
- reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service;
- use the app for any unlawful purpose.
The app contains no chat, no messaging, and no public content — there is no
way for users to contact one another, by design.
4. Content and learning materials
- Learning content is generated with the assistance of AI against a fixed,
human-approved curriculum plan, and checked by automated verification before it
is shown. We work hard to keep it accurate but provide it "as is" for
practice and revision; it is not a substitute for formal education or
professional advice.
- If you spot a problem, please use the in-app "Report a problem" button. We
review reports and can remove content quickly.
- All app content, design and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You
may use the app for personal, non-commercial learning only.
5. The Maevious online school
The app promotes a separate paid service, the Maevious online school, which
is operated by a separate company, Maevious Ltd. Enrolment and payment happen
outside the app, on Maevious Ltd's website, and are subject to Maevious Ltd's
own terms. Using this free app never requires you to enrol or pay for anything.
6. Referrals
The optional invite-a-friend feature gives you a shareable code. Any reward
is for you, the referrer, and is cosmetic. You share your code through your
own channels — we never contact anyone on your behalf and never require you to
invite anyone.
7. Availability, changes and closing your account
- We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the core
practice experience free and available.
- You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings →
adult check → Delete account). This permanently removes your data
(see the Privacy Policy and
retention & deletion policy).
8. Disclaimers and liability
- The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted
by law, we exclude implied warranties.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law
(including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
- Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for
any loss arising from reliance on learning content beyond its purpose as
practice material.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of
England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer
protections available to you where you live.
