Your privacy — the short version
Hi! This is Maevious Learn. This page explains what we know about you, in plain
words. There's a longer version for your parent or carer too.
What we know about you
Not very much — on purpose.
- A nickname — whatever name you or your grown-up picked for your profile.
- Your year or level — like "Year 8" — so we can show you the right topics
first. You can always practise easier or harder stuff too.
- Your avatar — the little character and colour you chose. It's just for fun.
- Your practice — which topics you've tried, your XP, and your streak, so we
can show your progress and remember where you got to.
What we do NOT know
- We do not know your real full name, your birthday, or where you live.
- We do not have your email or phone, and there's no way for anyone to
message you in the app. No chat, ever.
- We do not show you adverts, and we don't follow you around the internet.
Who set this up
A grown-up set up the account — that's your parent or carer. They can see your
progress, and they can delete everything whenever they want.
Is my score used against me?
No. Your progress only ever goes up as you learn — we never take points away
to punish a wrong answer. Getting something wrong just means we show you how it
works so you can get it next time. If you'd rather not see a score at all, your
grown-up can turn it off.
Something wrong with a question?
If a question looks wrong or confusing, tap "Report a problem". That tells us
to check it and fix it. Thank you — it really helps!
Want everything deleted?
Ask your parent or carer. They can delete the whole account, and everything about
you goes with it, for good.
If you ever have a worry, tell a grown-up you trust, and they can contact us.
