Theranode – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Theranode ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the Theranode iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. No Account Required

The Theranode patient app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. You can search for medications and locate nearby pharmacies completely anonymously.

2. Information We Collect

• Location data: If you grant permission, the app uses your device's location to show nearby pharmacies. This data is processed on-device and is never stored on our servers.
• Search queries: Medication search terms are used to return results in real time and are not stored, logged, or linked to any individual.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Information

Any information processed by the app is used solely to provide the service — showing you which pharmacies near you have the medication you are searching for. It is not used for advertising, analytics profiling, or any other purpose.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. No personal data is transmitted off your device, with the exception of anonymous search queries sent to our backend API to retrieve pharmacy availability results.

5. Third-Party Services

The app may use standard platform services (e.g. Apple Maps for location display). These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

Theranode is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
